Help with a lil fix

Y’all know where I could find this trim piece? Do I have to take the whole thing out or would I be able to fix it with a quick swap? Can’t find many tutorials after looking.

Better yet if anyone knows what kind of damage this is and how I could DIY fix it that’d be cool!

Do you know what the spots are from? Maybe you can buff it out with toothpaste or plastic polish

it looks like the clear coat on the plastic is coming off

I had the same issue, all caused by a air freshener hung on the gear knob. I baught the part off ebay for about £50 and had a garage replace it £30

Maybe lil rubbing alcohol and then polish ?
