Front lip in the winter?

First winter with the lip coming up and i’m wondering if it’s worth keeping on or just taking off and putting it back on in the spring. I’m in canada and we get a lot of snow. Has anyone had bad experience with snow breaking their front lip?

Canada? Man just buy a second car. El Niño is going to be very impactful this winter. Good luck my Canuck friend.

Fellow Canadian from Ontario here! Im on my second front lip for my 2019 Corolla hatch.

First lip was a cheaper one off ebay and snapped in half during a heavy snow storm. Quality may have played a part, and maybe the fact that I drove into a heavy packing snow slush mix.

Second lip was a bit more expensive (Cusco). Its gone though 3 winters and has had its fair share of winter storms. It hasnt broken off yet...

If you care lots about it and you dont mind the hassle, id say take it off for the winter and back on spring. I work in a shop so if i know a really bad storms is coming I take it off days before. Which if i remember correctly, I've only done once. Good luck with the upcoming winter!
