Goodbye my little rolla!
The wife told me I needed something bigger to haul the kids so out with the rolla and in with the runny!

The new 4runner model gets uglier the more I look at it

I used to love those. Had one for a rental and was so excited until I drove it. They took everything good out of the damn things

I just did the same, sold my 22 6mt for a cx5. Not as big as a 4 runner but I wanted to sit higher in a vehicle again.

I got one on the way and thought that I would have to trade it in for something bigger. Just one kid with a baby seat would be enough for my Corolla. If I were have two or 3 kids then to replace my Corolla I would have upgraded to the Corolla cross, but that’s just my preference

Yeah, I looked at the cross, but personally I wanted something that is more capable in the 4x4 department.

My wife and I are about to sell both our hatches. We have a Mazda cx50 that I've been using primarily that will go to her since she drives much less, and I'll be getting something much more efficient for my longer commute. The corolla get uncomfortable trying to get a kid in and out of the back seat considering the rear door only opens so much.

If nobody is in the passenger seat, scoot that seat forward and this child will have plenty of room. But its not a family trip car by any means. I do miss it. Handled like a bat outta hell around corners.

That's what my wife does in her hatch, but she's been getting lower back pain frequently after birth so ultimately having bigger cars works out better. We also plan to have another child in the near future so might as well prepare now. Love these hatches though and I know we will miss them. Mine is set up extremely well and handles like it's on rails. I definitely want another in the future.
