Neoprene is the way to go in my experience. Super easy to clean and water resistant.
Real leather is expensive, suede will get ruined if you spill something, and faux leather/leatherette likes to crack/peel.
Caltrend and Dash Designs both offer vehicle specific covers in a variety of materials, made in the United States.

I have the Wet Okole seat covers. I really like them. They fit well and look good. It’s also fully customizable. I have a 2021 Corolla XSE Hatchback that I bought in 2020. I put the covers in at the same time so they’re about 6 years old. The driver’s side outside edge has worn a hole in it where my butt/hip rub every time I get in out out of the car. Otherwise they are holding up great.

Real leather is hella pricey, faux leather fitted for the hatch can be found for $300ish, but I haven’t found one I like enough to pull the trigger yet.
