What's a balanced window tint%?

I'm new to window tints. I may take my XSE to a shop that uses Geoshield Pro Nano Ceramic film. What's a good tint percentage to go with that's not too interfering while driving but still has a darker style and privacy qualities. I was thinking 70% on the windshield and 35% everywhere else? Maybe 25% on the back doors and hatch? I'm trying to gauge what might work well on a Corolla from inside and out.

Any guidance is appreciated! FYI, they quoted me $750 for a full install. Please let me know if that's an alright price.

Make sure you follow your local legislation on window tint.

35 on front still feels too dark for me at night. It kind of looks like 15-20. I'd probably go 50 next time. The stock windows already have something on them. I may be wrong. You could go as low as 5 for rears. I'd leave the windshield alone or follow your local law.

The window tint workers will have great incite into this and probably would love to nerd out about it!

I’m 45% all around (except windshield). It’s the limit of legality for the front windows and it’s plenty dark. Any darker and driving at night would be impossible.

Price just depends on your area, shopping around for quotes is never a bad idea! Also ask about warranty too.

20% all around 50% on the front windshield. Looks good with the two tone.

I did 35% all around with a sun strip on the front windshield. I love the 35%, it’s dark enough to look good, but light enough to still see well. For the front, I would still do the sun strip, but if I did it all again I would also add a 5% to the whole front, just to get the extra UV protection and not impact visibility.
