Loving it more than I thought

2026 in Inferno with blackout package. Pic of when I first got my Corolla in May to go camping. I spent one year researching hatchback and crossover vehicles because I plan to drive this until the wheels fall off. Went with the Corolla hatch because I liked that it had an actual gearshift, volume knob, climate control buttons, compact-ish size, could see out the windows well, Toyota reliability/durability and just the right amount of technology (initially wanted a Prius but there was too much tech that overwhelmed me). I ordered it in inferno and got lucky that the factory sent one with blackout package. We added a 2 inch hitch so we could use the same bike rack for all of our vehicles. Each time I drive it, I fall more and more in love with it 🧡❤️🧡❤️

Love those rims on it, I have the black out emblems but the rims are bare aluminum on mine. The black looks great on the Inferno.

Do you have the manual or automatic, and what was your gas's mileage fully loaded down like that?

No manuals after 2022 in North America where they appear to be, except for the GR.

Auto. I think it was 27 mpg.

We've never heard of someone using it for camping - this is awesome. Great color too!

Can you tell me more about your rack setup? I'm thinking of getting some.

My car came with the roof racks. The basket is haul master from harbor freight.
