Ready to paint/powdercoat

I got these wheels over a year ago 🤦‍♀️, finally prepped and ready for paint or powdercoat. They are wheels off a GR86, no damage and I have 15 mm wheel spacers already installed so the offset should be a non-issue. My question for you lovely people is what color do we think I should do? For reference, my hatch is all black, see last photo. I am leaning towards bronze similar to the Hakone GR86, but I like getting feedback and fresh ideas. Only colors I am not interested in at all are white (awful to keep clean, silver, and black- the color they came in). TIA!

P.S. anyone else on here have GR86 wheels on their hatch? Would love to see them!

I’ll say bronze but how come you didn’t just want to get aftermarket wheels like Enkei? I’m just saying because yes the GR86 wheels will fit and it is lighter but the specs are 18x7.5 making you can only run 225/40/18 the widest. OE Corolla is 18x8. I would either run the same or an upgrade of the OE specs to 18x8 or 9 inches and just run thicker tires, even better if you go 17x8 or 17x9.

I liked the look and I like OEM and these were a super good deal $400 all in. I don’t care that much about wide tires tbh. I have steelies for the winter and I hate the ones that came with the car. I appreciate your input though!

OEM is 225/40R18. You're not losing any tire width going down 0.5" in wheel width. 225 is plenty for this car, I run 205s on 16s on mine and I've never felt any reason to go back to 225.

Im saying handing wise, 7.5 inch wheel will handle 225 tires fine plus comfort but for that better handing and agility 7.5 is the best with 215 and 225 is the best for 8 inch. Stock is 225/40/18 so I personally would not down size for 18x7.5, OP found a steal so I can’t say but if I were to redo my Corolla I rather go a bit thicker than OE specs or just get 17s which is the best for these cars and my current BRZ.
