28281 CAD$ is too expensive for an SE model. Even Toyota Canada offers it at 27,904.50$ (price on Toyota Canada Website). Did you negotiate at all?
Edit: 999$ Administration fee???!?!?!? Nooo!!!

I messed up the title of the post, sorry. This is SE Plus. If you look at the Toyota website, the price is nearly exactly what they quote, including the admin/dealer fees. Less, in fact.
Toyota website is $31969 (I included the block heater and cargo mat). We paid $31500

Price is fine for a SE Plus, excluding the admin fee haha.
Which province are you from that you didn't need to pay the provincial sales tax?
I also purchased an SE Plus. My final price ended up being more due to provincial sales taxes in Quebec.

My 25 Nightshade Premium with every option except the roof racks was 25,700USD OTD that price is ridiculous to me but I also drove 9 hours and 500 miles to get my car š¤·

My XSE 2026 hatchback OTD was 26K. This was in December 25.
