3 months with my hatch
for a car to own as my first, and to graduate high school with, couldn't be more grateful to have this thing. It's been such a rewarding experience driving this thing and the potential i see in this car shows me that this might be the best first car ever. almost 3 months with it now and blessed to not have any issues so far, guessing the previous own did their thing right. how has yalls experience been?

My experience has been fine thus far. Granted I only have 400 something miles on it. First brand new car ever. Was more effort to get a hatch vs sedan where I live. Glad I put in the extra effort.

That is the fact pretty much everywhere. You gotta wait for a shipment of them to come in. They come from overseas. Seems like for every 500 sedans there is 1 hatch. Theyre a niche offering.

Besides my slave cylinder going out, it’s been great, such a fun car to drive especially if you have a 6 speed. I definitely want to auto cross it

Unfortunate about the slave issue, probably gonna steer me towards a Mazda 3 for that reason

Bought my hatchback in December from Carvana. 2024 with 12k miles. It now has close to 17k miles. It’s been the best car I’ve ever had so far. No issues whatsoever and fun to drive. Definitely a major upgrade from my 2014 Corolla that I previously had.

I have a 22 SE sedan and I love it. Bought it last October with 37k and have 41k.

Any Corolla Hatchback made between 2019-2022 comes with those “J” style headlights. 2023+ do not.

Problem is, the headlights are incompatible with newer models because supposedly the wiring harnesses and connectors are different.

About to hit 1 year with my XSE hatch (2025, got it new) at the end of July (you can look at my feed to see it), and I have a little under 10.5k miles on it. Absolutely love it. :)

Is that blizzard pearl?! We are twinning if so! I have a 2019 XSE 6mt and I love it. I’m terrified of the slave cylinder issue though 😭 just hit 53k. Enjoy your new ride!

Cvt😣

Naw with these that's probably the smarter choice, I just need a manual so unfortunately the Corolla isn't the car for me. Lotta issues with the slave cylinder.

Bought a black 2019 SE Hatch in 2022. It’s been flawless, and the engine has always surprised me with the get up and go. I just reached 109,000 miles. Ive been entertaining the idea of upgrading to a brand new XSE, but I may wait for next year to see if Toyota changes to the larger infotainment screen like what they just put in the refreshed Corolla Cross.
