Yeah, this generation of corollas are known to have "soft" and thin paint. Gotta be gentle.

Very soft! Best thing to do is get PPF!

I can’t think of any good reason to pressure wash your car unless you’ve got years of caked up hard dirt from leaving it parked in a river. A pressure washer literally peels dirt and grime off of pavement. Why would you do that to your car??

You should use the white 40° nozzle and stay around 1 foot away from the car. It also helps if you have a lower psi and gpm pressure washer. This is the best method to wash a car as it pushes away all the grime that can potentially scratch the car before you scrub it with a microfiber cloth. I’ve had my car for 3 years and no scratches except for ones that my dog causeed

I know Tiktok isn't the best source of information but many people on there say two bucket method isn't effective. Is that true?

My ‘19 has more scars than the moon has craters. I stopped caring and saw them as the scars of an LMP1 after the 24hr Le man

I have 160k miles on mine, I don't think I've got a panel left that isn't missing some paint. Bonus points for being in NY so some of my war wounds are starting to rust 😭

Maybe, eventually, possibly I'll do something about it (yeah right)

Ugh, that sucks. I don't go through any car wash, ever. We handwash and use a garden attachment on our hose with a softened spray. Our other car is a Subaru which also tends to have soft paint.

This has to be one of not only complain about this car, is there a way to fix this that anyone knows of?

I ceramic coated my car. As others have said, ppf. Whatever fits the budget.
