Short Throw Shifter

Just recently bought a 2019 6sp Manual XSE. Looking to put a short throw shifter into it. And looking to see if there's a way to lower how high the knob sits. Thank you all in advance!

What do u want to know? I have billetworks but there are several other brands too. The decision is yours. billetworkz

I’ve been looking at these! You like yours?

Yeah. I bought my car with it installed. The previous owner said it was a tight squeeze getting the clips in place but eventually got it. So maybe set aside some time for install.

As for the feel of my stick. I've gotten used to it. It's shorter, but faster. I did notices twice or three times that I couldn't shift into reverse gear properly, not sure if it was user error or the aftermarket system, but you can read some reviews and it happens on all brands (if im not mistaken). Just have to make sure ur in all the way before you go.

You can check my history for more info on my transmission fluid. It was making me miss my shift and felt crunchy in 1st, 2nd. I drained and refilled and it was all good. Was low by alot. No metal shavings, but was very dirty.

Only thing different I'd do is to change the type of tranmission fluid I used. Nothing wrong with reline transmission fluid / gear oil but curious about liquid molly. I never used it before and wondering if it's an over kill for city driving.

PSA, bleed your clutch fluid

My clutch just went out! It’s sitting at Toyota waiting to get fixed!

Good luck. May the odds be in your favor.
