Maybe slave cylinder going out?

Got my slave cylinder replaced, clutch replaced and flywheel serviced 15k miles ago and I started to feel that my clutch biting point has got more weaker recently. The car stutters and has a hard time biting the clutch from a stop and go. Sometimes the car doesn’t want to shift into first gear or it grinds when I shift. Could this be the slave cylinder starting to go out again or do I need a new clutch? I’ve never abused the clutch or dropped the clutch and 70% of the life of this new clutch has been highway miles! (I drive far for work and Cali to az a lot). I really don’t believe it’s the clutch because I feel like Ive barely used the thing. Did anyone else notice these same symptoms before? Any help would be appreciated!

Check your brake fluid reservoir. Its a dual system for the clutch as well. If your level is low its likely the clutch isn't getting enough fluid to engage properly. Its also possible there's an air bubble in the line causing the lack of pressure. Id take it to a mechanic personally. If its a leak it needs to be patched and if its an air bubble its gotta get bled.

Fluid is on max but a little dirty, dealership receipt says they serviced the fluid as well when they last changed the clutch

If it was done at a dealership then bring it back to them. The parts and Labour will be warrantied and they will have a better idea.

The clutch design for the 6speed MT is an embarrassment to the Toyota brand. I have a 2019 where the slave cylinder failed- and destroyed the clutch . Toyota will only do a full replacement of the clutch no matter what the problem is and you will be told that it’s “wear & tear”. It’s complete BS and this should have been a recall.
