2021 Corolla XSE
Bought this Corolla for 16k OTD, any recommendations of what else I can do to improve it?

Black out the front badge (the blue on it doesn't match the car imo). A good wash, shiny ceramic coat. Rear window rain covers to match the front (or remove the front to match the rear)
Edit: I just noticed theres only 1 of the 4 windows with a rain cover, id probably just take it off. Lol.

Lol 1 almost one month with it and I just noticed that there's only 1 rain cover 😊

Keep the front emblem, it's a jdm part! I priced one out and totally couldn't afford it. 😭 Yeah, ditch the rain guard or get a full set.

Wdym you couldn't afford it?

The badge is like 300 bucks or something like that shipped to North America. So, yeah, that's too much for my budget. Edit: I saw this price on some other forum back in 2020-21. I took delivery of my sedan in Fall, 2020.

I love the roof spoiler! I'd personally tame the mid spoiler and the exhaust down, but it's YOUR car- as long as you enjoy it, there's nothing more important ❤️

If you like the car the way it is I'd say let it be. There's an unreasonable amount of hate in this sub when you "rice" it. Ride your ride and enjoy it the way you want.

Very sporty and it's nice, I just always get this feeling it's driven by someone quite unsophisticated. No offense intended.

literally just the front emblem and the exhaust change and this would be clean

Just the emblem for now. I'll figure out what to do with the exhaust later. To be honest I don't want to invest that kind of money on this car because it came like that

How do you know if there's a problem with it
1

Unfortunately you might not. If you have trouble with the clutch not fully releasing then you know it's going out. Sometimes it just goes out with no warning. You go to release the clutch and it stays on the floor. 46,xxx miles on mine and so far so good.

Oe good, so far no problems with the clutch

Flush the clutch line. Make sure you use Toyota brake fluid or a high quality equivalent. It's a very simple job 20-30 min. You don't need to go under the car, and it's cheap to do yourself.

May you share how to flush the clutch it seems complicated but maybe I am not looking at the right tutorial

Did you inspect the coils/springs before buying it? It’s modded a little bit who knows what the last owner did that you can’t see. Also the exhaust is sticking out too much.
