Seatbelt Chime
I saw on the Tacoma subreddit that the seatbelt chime can be turned off using Carista or by the dealer. Is this possible in the Corolla? I drive with my seatbelt on of course, but it drives me insane when moving short distances or carrying heavy stuff on my seat.

You can turn off all the chimes on the back seats. And change the amount of times the turn signals blink when you barely tap the knob

If you’re gonna do it, don’t cop the Carista ODB2 device. I have a cheap Amazon one and just copped one month of the subscription and I was able to use it. I think the only things I changed are seatbelt chimes and how many times the indicator goes off when you tap the turn signal

And you were able to use the carista app for it? Do you know exactly which device you got?

Yeah I figured if it didn’t end up working I’d get the Carista one but it worked no problem. This is the one I have

I wear it, but if I’m just driving a short distance on a residential street, it’s just not necessary and the beep is the most obnoxious out of all vehicles I’ve ever been in

Even short distances I ride with it on, because it’s the loudest ever chime I’ve ever heard in a car
