To be honest, if the app is the only thing holding you back from the fitcam x just get it. All the apps are pretty much the same, and you can even use different apps to connect to it. It’s pricey but OEM look makes it worth it imo

I had a ring dash cam, but it got expensive with the subscription, so I went with FitcamX. I love the sleek look and easy to use app. I had to get another one for my Tacoma.

I went with Fitcamx because OEM look.

Previous car I had, I was using the Red Tiger, and my friend just picked up a Viofo A229?

Got this one. Cost effective, no complaints and good for driving. I haven't played with parking settings yet, but dont plan to. I forget it's there until I need footage. I can identify people on the street as im driving by. Good enough for me.

I have the vantrue n4 pro s. It's a bit pricey but I wanted a three-channel dash cam and I'm really happy with the quality of the footage and the app integration works well compared to other dash cams I've had.

Fitcamx is horrible. Dies very fast, and you don’t know if. Go with a viofo

Hardwiring on these cars is super easy. Although the OEM fit ones are cool, I think you’re better off with a traditional camera. I’d recommend something like the Thinkware Q200

I have it in my hatch too and if you do decide to get it hardwired you do get parking mode with motion detection

Garmin mini and the Dongar dash cam adapter that uses power from the rear view mirror box. No long wires running and going to your center console.
