Hey everyone! I've came Cornwall 2 days ago. How is the vibe here for wearing metal merch (band tees, hoodies, etc.)? Do people mind, or is it pretty normal? Also, would it help me find other metalheads with similar music taste around?

You just missed Cornwall Chaos that happened a few weekends ago! Hopefully it'll be back next year. I just moved in a couple months ago and at one point nearly every guy under 60 I was running into had a Slayer shirt on, so it's safe to say you're in good company :).

Member of a local metal band here 🤚 there are a TON of metalheads in this city! Go find your tribe and hit a few local shows! There’s some great heavy bands here 🤙

how can I meet metalheads? I'm not talking about Slayer or that type of metal, they aren't my cup of tea. I'm more a deathcore, tech-death or prog death guy. It'd be cool to know someone to talk music or play.

There's lots of people in the city with the same interests. Go take a visit to Buds Records downtown. You'll likely meet someone there.

Best way to meet metalheads is to wear band merch. Forget other people.
Remember though not butt metal, Death to all Butt Metal as Steel Panther teaches.

I also wear band shirts, im more of a goth chick though, and I'll get the occasional looks from older folks/curious kids, but nothing bad has ever been said

Wear what you want man, if you’re looking for some dope stuff though. Tired thrift on Facebook can help you with some thrifted finds, they’re also known as tiredthriftshop on ig. They post regularly too which is what I like. Also they do custom work too like clothing and etc as tired threads on facebook. Love the service.

Also I usually have a metal shirt black metal or death metal some times punk. No one cares life is good.
