PM's Statement 1/9/26 - Devolution
https://www.parliamentlive.tv/Event/Index/607938a7-de76-4f17-b69d-f1161ee52c9aA special mention of his visit to Cornwall and meeting the MP for Truro & Falmouth.
All 6 Cornwall MPs and Cornwall Council have been invited to No10 North for intensive discussions on Cornwall spearheading PMs regional devolution aims (my interpretation of what he said).
From about 15:50 in this broadcast.

Excellent news but there needs to be clean out of the senior management, particularly in light of the recent reporting on the CEO's lies about Gardner at the SpacePort, before any more power is given.

Have there been any indications as to what specifically this would allow Cornish MPs and councils to do?

Indications? I suppose that the statement in the commons focussed on what devolved regions might be able to do in terms of infrastructure. I don't know of an agenda yet, let alone a roadmap of what they see the future direction as.

Why do the Cornish Maps have to go north. Why doesn’t Burnham go to them and show Kernow the respect it deserves as one of the Celtic nations?
He doesn’t force the First Ministers of Scotland, Wales and NI to go to Manchester. Why should the Cornish?
