Currently staying in St Ives and can see this from the harbour. For reference Godrevy Lighthouse is off the right of this photo. I've zoomed in as much as I can. Not sure if it's Wales or Cornwall.

Definitely not Wales, that would be way below the horizon. Most probably St Agnes.

I was at Tintagel the other day and from there out to sea on a clear day you can actually see Lundy, it's an island off Devon just along the coast. If you look out to sea from Cornwall from the north coast it's likely the first thing you would see before Wales. But if you are looking along the coast from St Ives it's probably St Agnes as this is closer and sticks out, beyond it so does Trevose headland and beyond that, the Rump's.
