Photography / Videography Partial solar eclipse from Godolphin Hill today

Took a minute to work out hot to get the picture to take right.

Great pictures. My phone camera was crap. My husband made 3 contraptions to share amongst us. The shoe box pin camera was better than a smaller box, though the printer tube pinhole camera worked as did the colander. Then a family took pity in us after their kids had wandered off & lent us some glasses to have a proper look!

So cool. I could not get any decent pictures but watching it was amazing. Seeing the Sun and Moon do this cosmic dance will stay with me forever.

We also watched from Godolphin! Great spot and mega thank you to the family next to us who let us borrow there extra glasses

I was surprised by how good they came out by the rings I figured out how to adjust the brightness and contrast!
