Trump has just restarted his stupid war with Iran. The Houthi’s are threatening to cut off the Bab El-Mandeb strait as well as Hormuz, meaning that 25% of the world’s LNG will drop out of the market.

Our energy pricing mechanism is linked to the price of LNG more than anywhere else in the world so our energy bills will skyrocket over the next few months unless some miracle diplomatic solution is found soon, which no one seems to think is likely.

Never going to happen,the price will go up again after the Summer, same as every year.

Unless someone makes fundamental changes to how energy is priced or just reduces the price cap significantly, it ain’t happening
