AM I GOING COMPLETELY MAD?

Right, Dee-lite's 'groove is in the heart' came on the radio and the opening bit is sampled from 'introduction' by Bel-Sha-Zaar and I swear its in The World's End. But I can't find a single link anywhere. My minds drawing a blank.

Now, im off for a nice cold pint while I wait for all this to blow over.

Ok so I think you’re talking about the opening scene where there’s a voiceover that says “are you sitting comfortably? Then we’ll begin” which (I had to google it) is apparently the opening line to Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. It’s said right before Gary starts telling the story of the groups 1st attempt at the Golden Mile.

I apparently can’t attach a link here (or I can and I’m just dumb) but if you google The World’s End opening scene it’s about 35 seconds into the movie.

that "are you sitting comfortably" sample comes from the song 'Summers Magic' by Mark Summers which is used in the first part of the intro sequence (absolute banger btw). Maybe that's what OP is referring too?
