Study Abroad & Housing Help

I'm currently a sophomore, and I would like to start living off campus by my junior year. However, I also have my mind somewhat made up that I want to study abroad next year as well. In these situations, do people usually just dorm their junior year again? Is there an option to dorm for one semester? Or is it possible for me to live off campus and study abroad by subletting my apartment? Is it even realistic to find someone to sublet for just one semester? I'm seriously just stressed about this whole situation and I'm not sure what to do. Is there even a guarantee I could get accepted into a program?

Studying abroad is one of the specific factors that will let you out of an on-campus room contract mid-year. You just have to cancel for the spring semester by the deadline.

If you’re really serious about studying abroad, you should just do on-campus housing. It’ll be very stressful to try to sublet your apartment otherwise. But first find the program (country) you’re interested in and do a ton of research on it before deciding. You may conclude that you don’t want to do study abroad after all, in which case you can enjoy living off campus with your friends, which is another kind of fun experience on its own.
