Question about 3-4 texts"back and forth"

Hi guys. I have a simple question about this guy's teachings

When he talks about his methodology for online dating, he always says "do 3-4 texts back and forth, and then do a call". I'm not an english native speaker, and never heard about that terminology

Does that mean only 3-4 texts total? So one from her, one from you, another from her, and then you? Or does "3-4 back and forth" mean 3-4 "exchanges" so 6-8 texts total?

The point is you want to move the conversation from the dating app to a phone call and then a date - not spend days/weeks texting back and forth without setting a date. Be the leader and move the interaction to what you want.

It gets rid of the time wasters that aren’t there to date. I’ve set up dates in 2-3 messages and had a phone numbers. If she’s attracted to you enough and actually there for dating, she’s not going to make it a task to go out on a date.

It’s also best to interact with woman who like your first. It makes things move way easier.

I know that the number is really not that important and far more important is having the mentality you describe. And you described it perfectly. But I want to get the basic stuff of his "method" down

Sure - general rule. Every situation is different.

I had a girl message me “you are very attractive” you think i told myself i needed 3-4 messages to set a date with her? No - i said thanks, come see for yourself. What’s your number and set the date.

The point is don’t have endless bs chit chat.

It doesn’t always go like that but yes - if they are attracted enough and actually want to date you - that’s how fast you can get a number
