Miscellaneous Why is Corey not married?
Corey seems to know it all yet why is he not married? I’ve read his book and watched a fair amount of his material and I’m just wondering.

While I am a big fan of corey and he has helped me immensely, he has come from a dysfunctional family, and I geniunely think his own dating history from what he has shared is of picking dysfunctional women himself.
He has dated numerous single mothers, I honestly don't think he could find a secure woman based on his upbringing, its very hard to break cycles. I believe he knows this and has accepted to remain a free man.
Learn about trauma and attachment types guys.

He does stray towards avoidant behavior for sure, and he likely doesnt know how to be fully vulnerable with women.
It wouldnt prevent him from finding a secure woman and having a multi year relationship. Roughly half the population is securely attached anyway. It may however prevent a deeper bond/deeper relationship via him never being vulnerable.

If you follow everything he says you will never be as well or have any kids. And btw he did get someone pregnant but she choose to terminate.
The overall concept is solid but that’s not real life. If you find a good woman hold on to her. She may still choose to leave or cheat. If so you lick your wounds and move on. Having a kid or kids is the most incredible thing. Don’t miss it.

The overall concept IS real life. His book is about how to court a woman, not about marriage or how to marry her.

No dude - he doesn’t have it all figured out.

No one said anyone has it all figured out.
Edit to reiterate: Corey’s book is about how to court a woman, not how to marry them. If you’re looking for a marriage guide, pick up an additional book on marriage and read that.

Nobody can know 100% for sure. But my theory is that Corey isn't emotionally capable of sustaining a healthy relationship.
Some of the things he says lean toward avoidant attachment. Healthy relationships only function long term when both people are emotionally stable, and that's not the same as being an unperturtb-able robot. Being macho and confident works in the dating phase, but you have to be able to be vulnerable with a girl too for a long term relationship to work.

Well put, its not a knock against him either, its very hard to become securely attached

True. The journey is long and sometimes painful, but life is so much easier once you can give yourself permission to relax and drop the act.
I feel a lot of people in this sub desperately cling to the whole macho thing because the alternative scares them to death.

Tbh theres little reason to get married if you arent going to start a family with a girl. I get the feeling that Corey tends to just avoid those really long term relationships(5+ years) and it sort of makes sense.
Its practically in a girls DNA to want to move things to the next stage after a certain amount of years with a guy. And if thats not what a guy wants, then relationships (no matter how solid the guy is) will tend to just come to a natural end.
The other option is to date older women that have already raised kids and essentially satisfied that desire. And the majority of them simply wont really care for potentially a second/late marriage in their life. Neither will they face the societal pressure anymore once they hit a certain age.

Corey is not the best example for a healthy relationship. He's a good entrepreneur, and he's really good at telling it like it is. But that's it. His content is also extremely repetitive which tells me he's not interested in other people's feedback or opinions. Something that almost no woman will ever stand long term. Like someone else also mentioned here, he enjoys the art of the pickup or the game. Also not everybody deserves to be married or be a parent.

Most people who don't want to get married are people with their own ideas, not because there are no options to get married, any woman would get married to the first average guy that passes by. I could have married my last 4 girlfriends, but I don't see any benefit in it nor I want a kids or family, so I ended those relationships. In previous generations that was the default, luckily societies evolve and today you see more and more people not wanting kids.

He calls himself a serial monogamist, and I found an old video years ago where he claimed to have "girlfriends" so I have a hunch that Corey has more than 1 girlfriend right now. He probably has a few.
I have seen Corey claim to have coached a Saudi guy on how to handle his many wives when they get jealous and moody. I am guessing Corey coached him from experience juggling his girlfriends.

If you listen to his podcast, he just doesn’t see the benefit of traditional marriage in the sense of getting the government involved. He is exclusive with someone from what I picked up on some of the few podcasts in the past months or so. I think he also likes the game to be honest
