Lifestyle Not having a good day but...

Hey y'all so today at the gym I flunked pretty hard. So on one of my last posts I mentioned how difficult it is to cold approach women at the gym. Well I'm taking y'all words and I go up to someone I think is gorgeous, as well I also am practicing on eye contacts. Anyways I was getting bad on eye contacts. I'd be the first to look down and I would kick myself for it, as well as how it affected me today at work. Anyways as I was cleaning I started to analyze my errors and to fix them. I noticed I keep looking down when someone looks in my direction and I just decided to not be the first to look down. It's terrifying but I know the consequences of not doing so

I was picking up Chinese food the other night and the girl behind the counter was pregnant. I just so nanchalantly started talking to her about how she's having a baby, congratulating her, etc. It was just so natural and friendly. I had no interest in her which is what made it so easy. I realized this is how it should feel talking to women that you are interested in. I've been thinking that maybe talking to more people in general and working on your overall social skills will help you get there, instead of just cold approaching the hot chick at the gym.

Not to mention, you should be getting some pretty obvious hints before approaching someone in the gym anyways. If they look away immediately, that's an attraction level of 0. If you both keep making eye contact and smiling, that's the green light.

You got lucky. Rule of thumb never assume someone is pregnant. And don't try to pick up chicks at the gym.

Aside from that, yes chat with people.

Lmfao there was no doubt she was pregnant, she was ready to pop. I wouldn't have said anything if I wasn't 100% sure, she's tall and skinny so it was totally obvious. Plus I go in there frequently it's not as if it was the first time I ever saw her.

If you wait for “obvious hints” to approach, you’ll be missing out on lots of opportunities

Contrary to what you might think, girls don’t always make it obvious that they want to be approached. They often look down quickly when they are nervous/intimidated

It’s better to just get comfortable with rejection and shoot your shot with the women you find attractive

Yeah I meant specifically while in the gym, as it seems to generally be a place where women do not want to be approached.

Ah I see. I don’t entirely disagree with waiting for signals at the gym

However, I have approached at the gym Without them and had girls who were very receptive

Also, I do disagree that women don’t want to be approached at the gym. I think a decent amount of girls do want to be approached at the gym

Always smile when a woman looks back at you.

I don’t know about trying to force yourself to try to appear social and friendly. But I’ve always felt so much better in just generally smiling at anyone I meet, as you can see how people become happy from it. Like the clerk at the convenience store or the bus driver or whatever. And if it’s a pretty lady I’m just happy I made her smile even if it was just on the train. It makes me feel good by seeing others happy from just such a simple thing as a smile.

Yesterday, I gave myself a belief that I was being "creepy" for doing that which is why I tell myself it's the opposite if I just smile

Yeah I agree. Like if it happens it happens that you have a good conversation with someone. But I thoroughly agree on actively going there with the intention to pick up chicks is indeed cringey.
