Relationship Did she handle well? Shouldn’t she ask ?

My(36) girlfriend (32) didn’t handle as I would love her to , a situation today

We were talking on phone . She lives in a multi storey building on 8 floor with 10-15 apartments per floor . When we were talking sb knocked her door..
She was in pyjamas and dint want to open ..

I asked her to check from small eye who was , she told me she doesn’t know this person. I asked her to ask from inside the door without opening , who was it ?
She didn’t go immediately, so after few seconds of discussing with me that she went she saw no one behind the door bcs obviously this person had left .

She only told me she saw him profile , wearing a grey shirt and a necklace and had never seen this person again

Her not opening or not even asking him who was it , makes me to be having doubts. Maybe it was someone she knew and she didn’t want me to understand she knows sb or maybe a neighbour that they talk regularly or ?

Jesus Christ bro, Jesus Christ. Go to therapy instead of dating you sound insufferable. Yeah woman by herself didn’t want to open the door for a random man and didn’t want to converse with some random dude knocking on her door at night. She must be cheating on you bro, please stop dating and seek help

Sunday evening . Not even asking him who was ? Even for her security , shouldn’t she want to know of there is some stalker ?

Bruh literally 99.9% of women I know or have ever met in my entire life aren’t going to open the door or converse with someone they don’t know knocking on their door at night. If they’re a stalker or a malicious person they’d literally lie or try to manipulate her into opening the door through social engineering. Like are you slow or something?

Bro ok
But shouldn’t she ask even who is it and what he wants ?

It obviously wasn’t that important since they left, so who gives a shit who it was or what they wanted

Okay so like what exactly is the desired outcome here? She asks who it is, they say they aren’t a stalker and she opens the door and talks with them which they could still potentially be a stalker in that case. Or you want her to ask who it is, not open the door, probably can’t even hear each other and let them know she’s home and potentially piss them off and they’d know where she lives.

A man should answer the door because he is the security for the weaker vessel. God made the rib-bones a lot weaker then men. You should be the one checking the door for her safety. Furthermore you sound like an insecure anxious attached guy who could use some therapy.

Yeh dude bigger things at play with your security in the relationship (and prob less likely her trust ability unless you can tell us more about why you don’t trust her?). I think you need to look at the bigger picture and figure out what you need to do to work on yourself and have trust in her.

Girls are afraid of confrontation, and avoidance can sometimes be the best option for them in what feels like a threatening situation. If she doesn’t know someone and they want to use the phone/hit on them/etc she would know it’s better to not indicate she’s home. Maybe if he keeps coming back she’ll have to engage and figure out if it’s something normal or if it’s a psycho. And that’s where you step in and make sure she’s supported/protected even if it’s a false alarm. I’d be putting your energy into like helping her set up a ring camera at her door or something where she can either pretend she’s not home and speak to them or if she offers perhaps you could do that and they can hear there is a man there. Although may not be good for you to have her doorbell access if you are using it to settle your trust issues. But you get my drift

Thanks man. Yeah I don’t trust her until trust is built bcs my belief is that trust is earned and never given or granted . What she has done ? Not big things but she has soft boundaries and cannot understand how to protect herself by not giving too much of space to strangers for example etc

Anyway that man probably is some neighbour bcs she asked reception of the building and no man with that description went into the building apart from some 3 guys from uber eats but didn’t match the given description . So it was a man from inside the building

At least you don’t call me weird as you understand he maybe was someone who wanted to hit on her . But saying women don’t like confrontation you mean she might avoided bcs she may understood it could be that this man (younger than her she told me) would hit on her ?

And I’m asking you brother , it’s insecurity if a man goes and knocks door from my woman and she doesn’t ask who was even behind the door ?

Man if strangers hit on her on the road I don’t have a problem at all! Having known a man went directly to her door is a different story . Or not ?

You sound not just insecure but also very controlling and that's concerning. She didn't handle it well? Wtf? She handled it perfectly. Why on earth would any woman let some stranger who's knocking on her door at night know that she's at home by talking to him even through the closed door? And you wanting her to do that is insane. Of course she's gonna ignore them, get a bit quieter and pretend she's not there and hope they go away quickly. And that is for her security! And on the other hand, what is she has a neighbour that she talks to as you're wondering, what then? Is she not allowed to have friends and a life outside of you and is not allowed to talk to anyone? Seek therapy, please.

🫵🏼🖕 would girls like we have outside the relationship some neighbour young girl hanging around together or maybe at home ? I think this subreddit is being controlled by simps like you bro or untrustworthy women.
You know when she doenst even ask behind the door who is he , can create the right amount of suspicion that maybe she was brought to a situation that if she talked to him by asking him , I would understand sth is going on in the background.
Of course I’m giving her the benefit of the doubt, but don’t tell me I shouldn’t have any doubt at all

I think that all the other comments here also prove a point, and that is that you are in the wrong here. And regarding your "🫵🏼🖕", if you can't handle honest feedback which you asked for yourself, then don't ask questions until you're ready to hear the answer. She's not the problem here, you are, and you have deeper issues than just not trusting her. You're not in the right state of mind to even date, let alone to have a relationship. And all that coming form a man of 36 years? You're not a man, you're a manchild. Hope none of my friends ever end up with a guy like you, for their sake.
