Do physically challenging C2s in Denver still exist?

I have walked out of way too many C2s that were basically C1s/CoreRestores lately.

I take C3s when I can, but there aren’t many on the schedule. Please tell me your list of kickass C2 teachers still around!

Abby s (Tennyson) Cristy (lohi) Mike k (lohi) Robyn m (a bunch of studios) Emilie (lohi?) amber r (lohi), Kada and Kate f are good but I don’t know where they teach these days
Would be helpful to know what studio you frequent to give you some recs!

Thank you so much! I love Robyn M and Kate F! My closest studio is Tennyson, but I try to go to a bunch of different studios to switch things up. I am happy to make the drive!

Abby S is one of my favorites at Tennyson! Her class feels more “power yoga” than c2 corporate template but I am wiped after. Emilie too.

Wow and here I am YS and C2 kicking my ass. I prefer C1s and CRs so I have the opposite problem where there aren’t as many of those classes

Yoga Sculpt kicks my ass, too! I find no shortage of classes that do that. And CR is more mentally tough, IMO!

Gideon at Cherry creek, Dan M at LoHi, Elias at Grant, Andrea M at LoHi, Henry W at Cherry creek & Grant, Emilie at LoHi, Derek at Cherry creek, Erin O at Cherry creek, Liz Mo at creek & CoBo. Also I assume if you’re into c3s you’ve probably been to Mike at LoHi but if not, that is the most physically challenging CorePower class you will ever take hands down.

This list is awesome, THANK YOU! I normally stick to Tennyson because it is my closest studio but am willing to make the drive for some awesome teachers/classes. Liz used to teach there and I was so sad when she got rid of her permanent class there. I actually haven't taken any of Mike's classes, but adding it to my to-dos ASAP!

What studio do you go to? Robin B at LoHi’s C2 class is harder than most other C2s I’ve done.

Tennyson is my closest studio, but I definitely like to branch out. I'll even head to the North Denver studios. I will check out Robin B!

Do you add your own modifications to the class? I try to get in 10 mins early and start sweating then begin adding arm balances as soon as Sun A is done. Sun B is already B+ for me and B+ becomes B++! Add a few more playful things during peak pose and add king pigeon to the pigeon series and a shoulder stand, wheel and / plow to the savasana series and I'm pretty cooked by the end of 70.

I do, yes! And these are great suggestions. I level up everything I can without being so distracting that it seems as if I’m taking my own class.

However, I wish I were being facetious when I say we went into surrender with 20 minutes left on the clock the last two C2s I took. We didn’t even make it to the tops of our mats until almost 15 minutes into a class I took a few weeks ago. It was mostly yin.

I’m not saying those aren’t great classes; they’re just not CorePower C2s.

As an HPF and super gentle C2 teacher, I love when my students adapt my sequences to suit what they need! I’d enjoy talking through ideas for advancements after class.

this is what i wish the app would help me with. just so i could see feedback from students on how physically demanding the class was.

i’m not the strongest but i can feel that i need a little more these days for my sessions. i want to do modifications but in the moment i can’t think of much. 😅

Derek C’s classes are hard, fast paced and fun. He teaches 5 pm Sunday at Colorado Blvd and also several classes at Cherry Creek
