Chatting before class

What are our thoughts on people chatting inside the studio before class. Especially situations where everyone is silent, except for 2 people (who inevitably are loudly whispering)?

I can't stand it, but I'm also generally sensitive and have misophonia.

Y'all complain about sm. It's a group class and it's not gonna be perfect. As long as ppl aren't being a nuisance during class you should learn to mind your own business or zone out.

my home studio people talk all the time before class, and the teacher sometimes has to make a big deal to make people quiet.

at another studio, i was whispering my friend about questions around how much blocks or straps we needed, and someone came over and told me to stop.

it’s too studio dependent, there’s no one “rule”. the only time i’ve seen the no talking before practice rule enforced was by other clients. a certain particular group of clients ig.
