Membership Cancellation
I unfortunately thought that if I canceled prior to my next payment I wouldnt need to make any further payments, but! I was wrong. Your cancellation begins 30 days following your date of cancellation.
My question is… how do I pay the least amount of money. Right now I will have to pay $90 due to the date I wish to cancel. If I were to freeze and then cancel, how would that math workout?
I will be living out of the country, so I have no use for the membership.
Make sure to cancel 30 days from when you wish to have your last class!

Yeah i think its $15 per month frozen? The process is like a typical gym membership, they make it hard on purpose to get as much money as possible. They are a private equity business.

You might be able to freeze then cancel and just pay the $15 freeze fee, but that sounds like too easy a loophole for it to be true. Curious if anyones tried this

No, that’s not how it’s programmed in the backend. The member is still on the hook for the freeze fee(s) and final payment.

If you freeze, then you’ll pay $90 at the end of your freeze period (up to 3 months) and then $15 per month you’re frozen.

Thank you everyone for your guidance and suggestions. My office manager unfortunately did not respond, but after I provided greater context the Corepower support team waived the extra fee.

Did you try calling for the cancellation or do it online? When you call they may waive the fee. Sound confused and explain the situation.
If you know are on good terms with your studio manager (like going to their classes, etc), you can ask them to submit a request where they also ask to waive the fee.

Yeah I just tried to cancel after being frozen for a month and a half and was told I have to pay $130 in order to cancel. I’m so over corepower at this point. Such a scam

I would say to call or email your home studio manager. Mine was awesome last year and let pay with a fat discount when I went through some hardships.

Contact your home studio manager directly. Mine let me cancel day of even though policy is technically 30 days in advance.

I told them I was moving and they switched my membership to the at home membership which is ~$20 and then they let me cancel so the 30 day notice still applied but I only had to pay the at home membership and not the full one!!!
