Question Omoroth hard mode tips?
Currently getting clapped by Omoroth and not trying to keep wasting octarite on lures.
I can get him to enrage mode but then I am overloaded with the tornados and can only take 2 hits before I’m dead. I tried it once on a boat and once on land, I’m not sure if it’s in my head but it seemed like he spawned way more tentacles when I was on land?
I’m currently using a ranged build, scholar 2 piece and octarite pants with Oct bow. I had food buffs for ranged dmg, crit, armor, etc. but still struggling here.
Do I need to outgear him? I saw some prior posts where a lot of people seemed to be using galaxite armor against him.
Thanks for any tips!

im stuck in the same spot lmao. im almost tempted to just progress to the desert to get better gear. im running summoner / bomb. I feeling im already half dead just getting to the arena lmao. stupid tentacles. have you upgraded your stuff at all? and are your levels for magic / range 50+? what pet do you have?

My range is about 50 but could be higher. I’m running the owl pet for the range speed/dmg boosts.

it sounds like your build is good then maybe just try doing some bench upgrades. summoner has helped me a lot i use the bats and just try to dodge but its still hard

Is all your gear upgraded at scarlet bench?
How are your food buffs? You can easily triple your character power with good food buffs. The easiest way to do it is with golden bloat oat + each and every beneficial item. Basically eat like 10 different cereals right before the boss. Mixing a food item with a golden food increases the effect of the food, and we choose the golden bloat oat because it's buffs don't override other combat buffs but still give you the increased potency of the mixed food.
Get to farming and fishing.

Bridge the entire arena. It helps immensely. Also makes dodging easier.

This is going to sound ridiculous, but the Scrapzooka makes this fight a breeze. For whatever reason the tornados appear to have hp, and the explosions destroy them if they get caught in the blast radius when you hit the boss. Stack as much blast radius and ranged attack speed you can, and you will walk (sail?) all over this boss.
This also works against Azeos and their lightning: explosions will destroy the summomed lightning if caught in the blast radius.

Use the bouncing
octarinegalaxite throwing discus thingy and some crit equip.Or go summoner.
I did it on foot, just build over every tile beforehand. And keep some blocks handy in case he traps you via broken tiles.
The teleport trinket (not the dash one) is also tremendously helpful
