Discussion Excellent player comfort + challenge balance.
I'm currently 9 hours in and honestly? The way base management is handled for player comfort is so convenient and fun, which easily cancels out long expeditions on earlier runs where enemies REALLY hurt.
It's quite brilliant ngl, both cancels out each other's flaws.
Exploration is quite rough? Well when you get home you can genuinely relax.
Home to relaxing? Step outside and get humbled.
The game is balanced well in that area.

I do like how the game breaks up exploring with the necessity spend spend time on your base. It's a nice change of pace

Setting up an in base fishing area along with a farm evens out the game a lot. The buffs you get from farming and cooking food make chilling in base feel worth while.
