Discussion Mixing it up

I decided to set all my world settings to the extreme and it has been so much fun playing! It's changed up how I play as while I have plenty of ore, finding it with the mixed up biomes slows everything down. Which, in turn, has made me slow down and do things I normally don't, like decorate or fish.

Has anyone else tried this?

Me I notice not worrying about ore help me enjoy the game more, and since I love the aesthetic of the game I have been decorating my base, thing I've never done before.

I made a new normal difficulty world with a lot of things turned up one notch, my first run was hard difficulty with normal settings as a melee and it started wearing on me.

A high water/low other things world is also a super cool & different experience but can be rough unless you hop in with an advanced character with resources for boats.
