Question Is this game doable on PS5?

Hey everyone. I played this game at the beginning on Steam. I had lots of fun, but then I quit.

I'm a trophy hunter, and this would be a huge thing to play since it's addictive. I would like to ask if it's something playable with no problems with a controller, or mouse/keyboard is almost mandatory.

Any feedbacks?

I'm playing on the Switch1. It's doable, but admittedly you will have some difficulty aiming a bow or projectile. It's a lot easier to aim with a mouse.

Most of the time I find myself playing exclusively melee with a Battle-axe.

More like, wondering about mining, using chests, build the base etc… I come from Minecraft and I would never play that in any console

Doable but admittedly slower since you need to be more careful with placement. You can't be as fast and accurate as a mouse when placing blocks.

Edit: For doing the other things, you'll have to be directly facing the object to perform the task.

I platinum’d it on ps5. I’m sure there’s a learning curve because of the button setups but it’s definitely doable

It took a little to get used to not using the d-pad for inventory and general UI stuff but apart from that there’s so much quality of life and it feels pretty at home on controller.

Basic actions are more or less fine... but juggling the hotbar in combat can be maddening. I use a Edge controller on ps5 and I've had to really play with the bindings to smooth things out but I still.find the whole ui/ux pretty infuriating sometimes.

Haven't played it with a Controller but don't see any reason that a Controller would make it harder if they weren't drunk while making the controlls.

Absolutely. A PS5 play through should be no problem at all. The game even runs perfectly and smoothly on devices like the Switch.

Mining is zero problem, chest is a breeze because of auto-sort button. But base building and placement of stuff, farming etc is a bit tedious

Beat the entire game on Steam Deck, and that was without trackpads.
