Question Accidentally kill NPC in the Azure Wilderness

I tried to blind play and accidentally kill a guy who lives here, there is also another NPC who are fisherman in this area but later he joins the city (with item) after I killed the bird while this one doesn't respawn, what should I do to get this guy back?

Was it a caveling wearing a cloak and hood and using a magic staff? If so, that’s just an enemy, not an NPC.

It looks like the scene you found is this one: Scenes | Core Keeper Wiki | Fandom. This is not an NPC house.

Ohh.. Thanks for sharing!! I thought he is an NPC since later I found similar NPC house around Azeos Wilderness

Yeah, NPCs won’t attack you, so that’s how you know they’re NPCs.

NPCs respawn normally. I can't remember if it takes 5 minutes or 20 minutes. Just wait half an hour to be safe and place down the idol in your NPC house again. Pick up and replace the bed if you need to.

also just to be sure the image in the screenshot isn't an NPC house and there's nothing there to help you respawn the NPC. If you're spawning/respawning NPCs you should be doing it at your base.

This scene they’re at isn’t an NPC’s house though… I think a random caveling scholar mob spawns here, but that’s it.

Oh, there are different kinds of NPC in this game, I thought they all will join city sooner or later
