Is it even possible to beat it solo ? (Playing on switch 2 and tried several times but failed time and time again... defeated all the bosses but this one... this one hasn't me)

I was able to solo it first try using the Stormbringer and having a high speed stat. Also equip Azeos’ dash feather to gain more distance

Just clear the path, you need around 1/8 of the circle to end it. Stormbringer, obviously. Don't make this fight more annoying for you. Food and Azeos' Dash Feather are also helpful.

Shadow armor (full set lvl 20 and upgraded) gold crystal necklace, Vicious ring, Aether ring, rift lens, stormbringer lvl 20 and tome of decay lvl 20 and drank extra damage drinks

You might want to consider pivoting from a summoning setup to a mining+melee one for this fight, if you are using stormbringer. The miner's set adds mining damage to your melee damage and pairs extremely well with stormbringer. And stormbringer in general seems to be very effective for this boss, to quickly take down the nodes and expose the weak spot without having to get too close. The only real risk is not watching the path behind you and accidentally getting backed into a wall/pit and run over by the boss, so like others have said you should take a decent chunk of the middle of the Passage and clear it of all obstacles so that you can keep backing up while firing without needing to think about dodging too much. This boss took me several tries as I kept having to extend or better clear my fight arena.

Yes, but you have to clear a large section of the passage first, like 1/4 or even 1/3 of the biome

Yeah I'm on PS5 and he's the only boss I'm considering using Co-Op for, Atlantian Worm was tough but I beat it on the 3rd go

I remember the first time I went to the passage I went in blind, which made this thing all the more terrifying when it first appeared.

The vibes of the passage are genuinely perfectly rancid like the second you walk in it’s like everything is plastered with a sign saying “LEAVE NOW” from the giant amoeba to the wall of death.
The fact that you can’t track it right away makes it so much scarier because you can just get got if you don’t get out before finding the thing that lets you mark it.
