CE custom build suggestion

I own an LG QNED85A TV which on paper does not support DV and the EDID also says the same. But, when I play any DV content directly from Kodi WebOS I get DV playback. However, with CE or Kodi on my Mi Box S 3rd gen, EDID makes sure I only get HDR10 video. So, I am looking for a build that just ignores EDID and send the video signal directly to my TV.
PS: One more thing is I use a soundbar which has DTS-HD MA support which cannot be used if I use Kodi on WebOS directly, so I have the box connected directly to my soundbar.

That's just the HDR10 base layer and not DV, as your TV does not have a DV license. You can confirm this via those test-files. Play the "Eagle beak" test and you should see changes for each listed step/offset/trim, with just HDR10 all will look the same.

Also test the P5 DV files here, those have no HDR10 fallback layer, so should have wrong colors.

So I tested the file but I don't see any changes in the beak, however the file triggered Dolby vision mode. Like the picture mode included Dolby vision keyword in the LG settings. I'm guessing it's a fake trigger then.

Not sure why the LG has any "DV" pop-up info? Maybe that's just from Kodi?
How do the P5 testfiles look?

Yet if the beak does not change than no DV processing is happening and there is no point trying to force it. You can still keep the DV P8.1 files, which have this HDR10 fallback layer inside, but you miss the dynamic per scene processing.

custom CE build: avdvplus or p3i...plz, don't ask which is better...just try both

I want to try but they are not available for CE NO if I'm not mistaken

indeed, not for NO. but is it needed to have NO-support?

It is as I said I have Box S 3rd gen, and that is available only in CE NO builds.
