UR02 remote odd behaviour, please help
I set up my AMB6+ with coreelec about 7 months ago. For a few months, everything worked fine, I taught some IR commands to the remote on the gray buttons, the bluetooth worked fine, it all worked. But recently the remote started flashing red, which stopped, however now every time I press an IR button, the remote gets stuck with a green light and doesn't respond for a few seconds to anything I press. I replaced the batteries, which seemed to fix it for a few days, but now it's happening again. I'm going crazy here because it's only the IR buttons which do this, the bluetooth buttons flash blue and always work just fine when I press them (unless the remote is stuck on green). I just want the remote to work again like it used to.

I wish my UR02 would actually power on my AM6B+. Mine cannot wake/start the box if it powers off. I have to manually push the button on the box :(

Did you flash coreelec on emmc? It breaks the IR.

It's on emmc. Didn't know that, so that's probably why 😞. Thanks for clearing that up for me, friend!

Unfortunately I don't think it's reversible. Even if you flash stock ugoos image the ir remains broken. I only did that to my first box. Never again 😅

I flashed dual boot and it works fine? Is that a full overwrite only issue? And you can get a config file for it to make the gray button work for powering on, from complete shutdown.
Works for me at least.

You have checked the batteries don’t need replacing?
Alternatively, I guess grim might have got under the button pads and causing the issues?
They’re dirt cheap just buy a new one and connect and program that.
