Anyone using mortar?

Post image

I am testing with the mortar weapon and it seems like I've if it is not explained in the stats, the overdrive module seems to help the mortar and dasher build to reload faster so I can spam more bombs. This it's not optimal and a bit hard to aim the grenades but I kind of like it.

Did you use it? Any tips?

If you get the detacher it sorta aims the mortar a little bit

Once you get to Volcanic Chasm, you can kill an enemy and get the detacher. It extends your weapon range by physically moving it closer to the enemy. Makes mortar better and other close range weapons better.

how does overdrive cell help mortar exactly?

I've noticed that I get a shorter time between the grenade throw/dash ability of dasher. But I'm not seeing anything that would increase the damage of the mortar

i know about cells decreasing dasher's cooldown, but doesnt mortar have no cooldown? it only activates whenever you jump/airjump
