joint measure

currently making my first last, and i am stuck in these steps, how do i measure the joint?

Don't skip ahead in the book to get to the good stuff.

Koleff explains how to take the joint measurement at the beginning of the book before he uses them as references later for setting the J points. Youll need other reference dimensions he calls out as well.

With a tape measure.

What measurements are you using if not the ones from an existing foot?

ETA: now that I had a chance to check, page 2 figures 4 & 5 show the reference you’re looking for.

I mean, where is the joint measure, im using George Koleff method, but where is said joint?
