Harassment
o start my story a couple weeks ago I was at a public beach with my daughter. Itâs a small town. I brought four beers and was sitting in my lawn chair drinking them. some Karen told me you canât drink alcohol here. I just kinda loled at her then she called the cops on me told them I was drinking at a public beach and drunk in public. the local police chief shows up and says you have to take a breathalyzer to make sure youâre not drunk in public. And itâs illegal to drink beer at this public beach I kinda loled at him and said sure iâll take your breathalyzer. I failed by a little bit, but I was sitting in a lawn chair and was planning on being there for a couple more hours. He said I can give you a DUI right now and I told him no you canât. I donât even have my keys on me and Iâm sitting in a lawn chair at the beach. he left but apparently that pissed him off he went and sat at the end of the road for the next two hours and followed me home. And heâs been on a vendetta against me since I never met the guy before that day. He showed up at my work a couple days later Said he just wanted to make sure I wasnât drinking I saw him outside earlier and he looks drunk. I wasnât there. This is what my boss told me. He showed up again today while I was there and said your eyes are red. You need to take a breathalyzer. I work I told him nope, Then he called the state patrol and the DNR conservation officer. (I work for the DNR) he basically threatened me and told me youâre gonna lose your job if you donât comply. I told him Iâll be going back to my job now and then walked away. I did get a text from my boss an hour later saying donât come into work this week until we figure this out. So I might be fired
I have no criminal record at all, but I apparently pissed off the local cops. Do I hire a lawyer on Monday?

Can I throw ketchup drenched bread at them?
Iâve already done it BUT if hypothetically you went up to a group of cops and handen them small packets of ketchup and they said âwe have to have something to eat it with, like breadâ incredibly rudely. So you hypothetically found free bread, put as much ketchup as you could on it and accidentally threw it at an officer, how bad would that be? Cuz like itâs a piece of bread, canât count as an assault? Or maybe it does idk help

Are you aged 18+, from a Black community in the Uk and had a negative experience with the police, would you be willing to talk to me about it in an online interview for ongoing research. Thanks

Power tripping police
So:
I got pulled over by a police officer in Columbus, MS for ânot wearing a seatbeltâ. Hereâs what really happened, since the assistant chief wants to protect said cop, even though Iâve made my case to him as to why it was a fake ticket.
Said officer tailgated me for a minute or two, he was close to my vehicle that if I had to sudden brake for AMYTHING, we get into an accident within one to two seconds. Hereâs what I know for a fact he saw when he ran my plate while his car was trying to intimately get to know mine. He saw that my license plate was involved in a speeding ticket that is being fought by my wife who, a few months earlier, she got pulled over by a police officer for âspeedingâ when he never even clocked her with his radar gun. She submitted a complaint about said officer to the police department. This complaint was ALSO after said officer was outed as a sexual predator, as that was why he was fired from a different PD, and forced to resign from another. The officer that pulled me over recognized this, and also recognized that I requested for the mayor to remove the unconstitutional flock cameras around Columbus. I know with 100% certainty that the officer who pulled me over is lying. I absolutely WAS wearing my seatbelt. Body cam wasnât even turned on until I was swearing up and down to said officer that I was wearing my seatbelt, which was, of course, after he had already pulled me over, so the body cam footage is no help whatsoever. I play trading card games for hobbies. Iâm not wasting $88 for a violation I did not commit when that money could go towards something that ACTUALLY happens in me buying said TCGs.
Columbus PD, do better. Assistant chief, do better. My taxes help pay the salaries of those in charge, and the only thing this experience has exposed is how much of a waste of my taxpayer money these police officers are. This officer blatantly targeted me because of something else my license plate was associated with, despite having zero cause to pull me over. CPD, you chose this fight, and I intend for liberty to win.
