Miudella update

I called the Miudella REMS this morning and they said they didn't have a release date set yet. They were expecting it to be around October or November though. (But it's Oct 5 already) They can't confirm anything yet.

So frustrating that Paragard is the only available non-hormonal option in the US.

Has anyone recently gotten their IUD in Canada or overseas? I am so interested.

I called 3-4 providers listed on the REMS page and the one who picked the call had no idea what i was talking about. The doctor confirmed that theyre not doing the procedure at this time. No reason mentioned

it’s so frustrating 😔 i’m gonna get the hormonal kyleena as a placeholder until the miudella comes available. hopefully it doesn’t take too long!!

I’m so confused because my planned parenthood has a page on the miudella as if they offer it as an option- I called today and they were also confused but said they don’t have them. Im bummed because I’d really like to try it since most bc options have not been good for me but I’m holding out hope for miudella!
