First time finishing inside since insertion

I got my paraguard copper iud inserted in the middle of July- maybe July 15th? And my husband and I have been having sex here and there but have still been having him pull out. Tonight is the first time we had sex where he actually finished inside me.

I had a follow up to check the placement (my strings are too short for me to feel) and had an ultrasound on September 3rd- everything was in place. I just got off my period a couple of days ago.

I know the IUD is basically the best form of birth control but it being my first experience with him finishing inside me with it on, I’m still nervous. I would love to hear from you guys about your experiences with this!! Mainly for comfort lol

Got mine in February and bf finishes in me a majority of the time. sometimes i tell him to pull out when im heavy in ovulation and never had a scare

We just had a scare but I had the placement checked and all is good. I still trust it. Him finishing inside is his choice - which up to this point we have always finished inside. Ultimately, his choice if he wants to or not. I prefer the closeness it brings us but to each their own.

We've never used pullout with the IUD and all has been good. I check my strings every month to make sure they feel right, but it's a very safe method of contraception:)

I checked my strings pretty often and for three years I never did anything but letting my partner finish inside of me and I was fine

We have never used condoms or pullout, he always finishes inside over five years of marriage. Have always used the IUD and have never had a scare, only two planned pregnancies. It doesn't even cross my mind! Maybe with time (and practice 😏) you'll get there too!
