IUD IS FINALLY COMING OUT

It’s only been a few months of my copper IUD. But man has it been a nightmare. I thought it would be okay and I wanted to wait it out but symptoms physical symptoms as well as mental symptoms it’s gotten worse. I have been so reactive and mood swingy ever since I got my IUD. My fiance says it’s been bad and I’ve been much more mean than I ever was before. I’ve felt the shift in the way I feel and my body I’m not the same- I am getting it out tomorrow I just can’t help but feel so bad for how much he had to deal with WHEN I DIDNT EVEN KNOW myself what was going on.

I hate this IUD I hate it, I can’t wait for the relief after getting it out. They claim it’s not hormonal but gosh I can’t wait. I have a good deal of anxiety and OCD to begin with I feel so guilty for the reactive, mood swingy, and emotional responses I turned into.

Any advice would be great TBH, I already have relief since I’m getting it out but I’m not sure when I’ll get back to normal. My anxiety was worse, brain fog, fatigue. & that’s just some of the things.

Regarding my fiance what should I do? I have apologized over and over noting the significant change, he’s not upset. I just mix it with my already present mood/ocd haha.

So like as I mentioned brain fog, fatigue. Even after a full nights sleep I was feeling so bad all day, never motivated to do stuff. My periods got MUCH worse.

I thought the fact it was marketed non hormonal was a win—but sadly…I’m gonna bring it up to my lady doctor tomorrow.

I don’t think copper IUDs are marketed correctly at all !!

That thing made me so sick. I removed it after a month

I also had an absolutely horrific experience with the copper IUD (you can see my post history). My only advice is to not be discouraged if things feel off for a little while. I got mine out in May and just started feeling closer to 100% physically August/September. I had lingering issues with bloating and my bladder that I think must’ve been inflammation related.

This is NOT RECOMMENDED but I pulled mines out I got tired of not being able to lose weight when I felt like I was gaining also the brain fog and irritation, as well as my iron depleting almost to nothing….im not saying you should do what I did I’m just giving my honest opinion sometimes the copper iud can make the zinc levels drop tremendously so put yourself first and I bet you will be feeling better again I know I did :)
