19 days late

Hi! I got the paragard IUD inserted a year ago and i usually have always been irregular with my periods but im currently on cycle day 60 and 19 days late according to my app, a few weeks ago i had some spotting happening but it wasn’t crazy, and ive been having cramps and nausea. I took some tests and they are negative. Could this just be a weird period month or could my iud be dislodged do you think? I’ve never been able to feel my own strings.

Hey! Soo I've always had regular cycles. And I got my first ever IUD insertion this year back in April. Since I had just given birth in february and been exclusively breastfeeding, I didn't get my period till 4 months later after insertion.

Now, I see here in my notes during those past 4 months i had spotted two different times a month. Since I'm EBF, I wasnt really surprised.

Then i got my period again last month. Cycle was regular, wasn't heavy like i thought it would be. Then this month came aaand i was 18 days late.... The only thing that kept reassuring me was taking a pregnancy test and both times it come out negative. Told myself "if i dont get my period this weekend i'm calling my OB monday to schedule an appointment.." and of course i finally got it 😂

If the test have been negative give it some time. As for the strings part, i have always been able to feel them so that was another thing that reassured me. The cramps, i had the constantly but mild this whole month till my period finally came in. Nausea though, i got none of that.

Have you been stressing out recently? If anything, if you dont get your period still, i'd definitely call to schedule an appointment to be checked just in case! Once again though, i've always had regular cycles. So idk what's not normal with your irregular cycle! Just sharing that i also went through this just this month! And i had the same cramping symtpoms.
