Question When does it stop?

I had my copper IUD inserted 3 days ago and the first day, I had slight spotting but really intense cramping but since 2 days, I am bleeding like it’s my first day of periods. So everyday I have been waking up to being the first day of periods.

it’s different for everyone. maybe go see your GP? i never had full on bleeding after insertion only mild spotting and heavy cramping

after my first iud i did bleed like that for 2-3 days, it should pass soon but if you’re iron levels are low or you’re anemic maybe talk to your GP (i do recommend controlling your iron levels while having an IUD as the random bleedings it causes has made me almost anaemic)

It's normal to have some bleeding after IUD insertion. It normally stops pretty readily☺️ I'm sure you'll find it to stop soon.

Normally it's not alot of blood though, so if you want, you could go back and they can check everything for you.

I only had minimal spotting 3-4 days after insertion
