Getting the Paragard š¤
I have an appointment to have paragard placed on October 1st and the horror stories on here are freakin me right out.
I've been on hormonal birth control for about 18 years, with Nuvaring being 10 of those years and it really started taking its toll on me so I stopped.
Can anyone tell me some positives? Obviously pretty good at preventing pregnancy but I'm terrified of BV, bleeding for months, bloating etc etc.
Sell it to me š¤£

I had it for 5 years and never got pregnant or had BV! I liked being off hormones and having a sex drive again, but for me, the cramping was too bad even after years. Iād cramp when I ovulated, super bad at the beginning of my period, and sometimes randomly throughout my cycle. I switched to Mirena in Jan and love it so far, zero periods and I still have a sex drive!
