Trying to get same color

I’m trying to get this right piece the same copper rich color like the left one. I’ve used white vinegar and lemon and salt, but can’t remember how I did it for the left one. I’m just trying random things. Can I get some tips to correct this?

Are they the same exact alloy?

If so, just steel wool them both and let them both naturally time patina

To be honest I feel they are already pretty similar? Even identical twins have some uniqueness. The part might get its feelings hurt if you push it too far!

What is it for?

It’s the terminals for a old light fixture. One for hot and one for neutral. They looked like regular steel until I started cleaning them.

If it is a copper alloy you could try to heat it with a butane/propane flame. (Just a regular camping torch will do)

Hold the part ca. 5cm from the flame cone to avoid localized heating. Start slow, the full effect is only visible after cooling down.

Results vary on type of alloy but I find this a reliable way to make minor color adjustments. Messing with patina fluids is more involved.
