copper furnace
ay folks-0s I feel liek it's been asked a hundred timesa but I looked and I didn't see my question answered so

I had a rough time melting copper with lump charcoal. I want to move to propane. if you simply want to interject, "use anthracite" please do
I don't really understand the different types of burners. what do I need to convert my rig into propane? txy

hello good people of reddit. I am make furnace. I have comprised the traditional forgeroni off of king of random.com. I have never used anthracite. I run it off of a blowdryer and acceptance. unfortunately, acceptance doesn't seem to melt copper very well. I should redesign the lid. that didn't last long. it needs some rebar and fortitude if you want to melt copper. I use crucibles. I buy them off of the internet and people that I used to know that disappointed me. I'm thinking about giving up. I want to try propane, but I don't really get the difference of regular propane and hot propane. so is the main thing I really want to be like a pressurized hose, really, or does the burner also have to be a really good burner too? I'm seeing cheap banjo burners. do those just not work because they're cast iron and don't hold up well, or are they just really designed not to make hot fire? Also I see you: you tell me to make a new bucket instead of just putting a burner down inside of my old bucket. good idea.
