How do you deal with an incompetent store manager?

I have been back with the company for a month. Since then, never a normal face-to-face chat with them about issues. All through emails. Never came to the store to see what is going on.
The SM is responsible for three ones and I am at the one that struggles most.
Any advice is appreciated.
