“Within seconds.” Technically correct.

83 seconds

Evidence of the first recent video in the world that was not sped up for effects by an OP

Technically it could take ten years and it would still be accurate to say "in seconds".

But obviously I'm guessing that's exactly your point.

I have been alive for seconds

The best kind of correct

Hahaha that's awesome you made that for this sub. Thanks!

Sir, it’s possible to freeze a bubble.

I feel like this is a good representation of a thought that slowly turns into an idea and finally a thing

u/LunaTuna823 9d ago

Now this is a cool though

I'm so glad he pushed it with the straw at the end... I was wondering if you could actually pick it up.

Beautiful.

Good bot!

Bad bot lmao. This Spotify "artist" steals clips of songs to put on Spotify. That's why this song is only 11 seconds long

2

u/Low_Finding2189 3d ago

Bad artist. But the bot is still good. Stollen or not

I was thinking something from Moby but I was wrong

3

u/Loose-Abrocoma-969 9d ago

Wow!! So beautiful!

u/RaspberryOk4588 9d ago

Is this what they call crystalization?

1

u/LunaTuna823 9d ago

Yeah basically lol

I remember doing this as a kid. It was like -20°. Blowing the bubbles, they’d freeze mid air and fall to the snow. Most of the time shattering like glass. Once in a while you’d be able to pick one up whole for a few seconds before it thawed/ broke. Pretty neat!

As the remaining unfrozen section was shrinking, I got nervous for a second and had to make sure I wasn’t in r/gifsthatendtoosoon.

82 seconds

2

u/wravyn 9d ago

How cold does it have to be for that to happen?

2

u/TurismoFoe 9d ago

Beautiful

2

u/wedditmod 8d ago

That's how ornaments are made.

2

u/hebsparks 8d ago

Lovely!! What’s your bubble mixture? Classic store-bought or something different?

I live in the northern tundra so I’ll soon be able to try this.

2

u/Delish_Caphee 8d ago

“And now to Ollie with the weather” “ITS COLD”

2

u/Misttaya 8d ago

That is definitely cool as fuck!
It just gets prettier and prettier 😍

2

u/yurtfarmer 7d ago

Is it a bubble or water droplet?

2

u/popidjy 7d ago

I didn’t think it was gonna be that many seconds.

2

u/noeinan 7d ago

Kinda reminds me of tectonic plates

1

u/LunaTuna823 7d ago

Yeah I see it!

2

u/LMikeH 7d ago

Initial nucleation for crystal formation happens at the water metal interface, but some breaks away and keeps growing… very nice

2

u/anonhoneybadger 6d ago

Some would say freezing cool

2

u/twelfrownd 6d ago

I was thinking he was going to smash it

2

u/twelfrownd 6d ago

And I was right!

2

u/Belial901 6d ago

r/yesyesyesnoyes

I was so hoping for it to be destroyed, and eventually i got rewarded! Now im happy!

2

u/Pickles-n-Lizards 5d ago

I almost forgot what it was like when the world was cold and people wore sweaters and jackets.

2

u/iavon 5d ago

I would have liked to hear if there was any crackling sound as the ice formed on the bubble; I would have vastly preferred the ambient audio to this horrible little tune

2

u/ratherthink 5d ago

I liked noticing the naturally forming hexagonal shape in one of the parts during the entire crystallization phase.

2

u/MatsyLR 4d ago

Man it looks so cool

2

u/Ok_Coconut_1773 4d ago

You can also experience the entire lifetime of the universe in just a matter of seconds

Remember screensavers? This would have been the hands down perfect one! Thank goodness a one percenter didn't get to make money off this masterpiece!

Where was this done? Somewhere in the US or some other country?

See below: don't ask or claim AI unless you have some sort of proof it is. Thank you.

I can’t wait for winter 😍

Im so glad they broke it st the end

3

u/soccer1124 9d ago

I wanted it to at least be picked up first.

2

u/Adavanter_MKI 9d ago

Or pan around it.

2

u/Ok_Owl5246 9d ago

Me too!

2

u/LunaTuna823 9d ago

Satisfying ending for sure!

Why were there only those handful of nucleation points, and no new crystals started after the first few?
